DCP has a board of committed Trustees, each with their own specialist knowledge and experience.

The role of our trustees is to ensure DCP has a clear strategy and that our work and goals are matched to our vision. The trustee’s support the Chief Executive in the running of DCP, ensuring that the charity meets its obligations and that the needs of clients come first.

Our trustees also take practical roles in the projects managed by DCP and take part in fundraising efforts for the organisation.



Glenn Jones
A Chartered Member of the Society for the Environment and a Chartered Resource and Wastes Manager, Glenn is a Company Director with interests in the Waste management, Renewable energy and Aerospace sectors He has organised and participated in many fundraisers for Durham Christian Partnership, ranging from a 24 hour Three Peaks challenge, two Coast to Coast cycle rides, a rally car track experience and summer and winter dance events. Glenn is an Elder and member of Bethel URC Church.

Chris Jameson-Gates
Chris worked for Durham County Council as a Mental Health Support worker and has previously worked for Durham University Business school and St Nicholas’s Church as the Market Place Project co-ordinator.


Dennis Philip
Dennis is a Professor at the Department of Economics and Finance, Durham University Business School. He is involved in social research, both with governments and social enterprises, focusing on improving financial skills and economic well-being. He is passionate about building positive social impact in communities. Having been involved with various DCP projects over the years, Dennis joined the trustee board in 2019.

Jennifer Sewel                                                                                                                                                                      Jennifer works at Durham University where she is responsible for its governance and legal and regulatory compliance. She previously worked in the financial services sector.  She is a member of St Nics Church in Durham
